Our public training events provide verbal de-escalation, self-protection, and physical restraint training to individuals with a variety of needs:

Each event starts with skills training, followed by instruction on how to teach it.
Certified trainers can fulfill their annual recertification by attending the last two days of a public event.
We conduct public training events at two levels: Standard (teaching Fundamental and Frontline skills) and Advanced (teaching Advanced skills, for Certified Trainers only). Our events typically last 4 days, but the days you attend will depend on the type of training you need.
(the first 2 days of a Standard event)
Learn to use behavior assessment, verbal de-escalation, self protection, and restraint skills. You are not authorized to teach others after completing this training.
(all 4 days of a Standard event)
Learn to use and teach all Fundamental and Frontline skills. You will also get to practice our proven teaching methods. After completion of training, you will be authorized to train others in Fundamental and Frontline skills.
(the last 2 days of a Standard event)
Refresh and sharpen your skills to fulfill your annual recertification at the Standard level.
Pre-Requisite: Standard Trainer Certification
(all 4 days of an Advanced event)
Learn to use and teach all Advanced skills. After completion of training, you will be authorized to train others in Advanced skills.
